Good Books for Good Works

It’s our “Baker’s Dozen” year for our Good Books for Good Works program with our generous partners at the Book House of Stuyvesant Plaza. 

The date is a Wednesday this year, November 15th, and the event runs from 5:30-7:45 PM since the Book House now closes at 8:00pm. 

You won’t want to miss the informative and entertaining Book Talk by the Book House staff at 6:00  -- which will present reading suggestions and gift ideas for all ages.  Our recipient school is the Lincoln Community Elementary School in Schenectady, which has 360 students in grades Pre-K to 5.  A percentage of sales will be donated to the school library in the form of a Book House gift certificate.  Please spread the word to your book clubs and other groups, and bring a few friends along for a fun evening of light refreshments and inspiring book conversations.
