Good Books for Good Works

This November 6th, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., will be the WCA’s 14th annual “Good Books for Good Works.” Once again, our partner is Book House of Stuyvesant Plaza and the wonderful booksellers who provide short and snappy reviews of their favorite books in time for the holidays, birthdays, and to gather for the long winter months to come. Proprietor Susan Novotny collects 20% of all books sold to patrons who want to participate in Good Books and turns that into a gift certificate to an at-risk public elementary school library in the Capital Region. This year’s recipient will be the Carroll Hill School in Troy. Please mark your calendars and bring lots of book-loving friends!
