WCA Members -- we need your help to make this MAJOR FUNDRAISER a success, especially in this year of hefty expenses! There are many ways you can help.
First -- We’re planning some exciting new things!
-
The Marketplace: Would you or someone you know like to rent space to sell merchandise in our ballroom during the WCA Garage Sale? Cost for a 6-foot space is $40 for both days, $25 for one day.
-
The Basket Raffle: Would you have fun preparing a themed basket to raffle off on the front lawn? You might seek business donations and/or donate items for this FUNdraiser.
-
The Bake Sale: Plan ahead to prepare or purchase individually wrapped treats for the sale.
Contact Paula Hennessy about the Marketplace and the Basket Raffle.
No need to sign up for baked goods, just bring them to the house.
Second -- We need quality donations!
-
We need furniture, bikes, antiques and antique furniture, glassware, small appliances, toys, baby furniture, dolls, antique and costume jewelry, books for adults and children, holiday decorations, lace tablecloths, bedding, purses, scarves, tools, art, rugs, etc. All items must be clean and in good working condition.
-
We cannot accept skis, exercise machines, electronics, fish tanks, clothes, car seats, bowling balls or mattresses. Please, "no junk."
Third -- Volunteer to work at the sale and/or during drop-off days!
-
Please share this COMMUNITY FLYER online, print it and post it in your neighborhood and at work.
-
We're making it easy for you to sign up HERE. Volunteers are needed to:
-
-
unpack cars, sort, and organize merchandise (Wed.-Thurs., 9-7)
-
work at the Garage Sale (Fri.-Sat., set up at 8 a.m., sale, clean up until 5 p.m.)
-
give unsold items to our community partners and/or pack them for donation (Sunday 10-4)
