Hear from Judy Smith, executive director of Literacy Volunteers of Rensselaer County and a staff member for SEWS (Sewing and English Language Workplace Skills). SEWS meets weekly at the WCA for a class that gives immigrant women a chance to learn valuable employment skills while studying English.
