These are the words written by Edmond Rostand in 1897 for the marvelous Cyrano de Bergerac, a real person of wit, pen and sword known for his great unrequited love.

Many plays and movies have exalted this hero and we will enjoy the latest iteration -- Cyrano starring Peter Dinklage -- on March 22 at the Spectrum Theater on Delaware Ave. in Albany.
