'Fahrenheit 451' Classic Rings True Today
Friday, Oct. 13 -- Page Hall, 135 Western Ave., Albany
Meet at 6:30-6:45 p.m.; Screening at 7 p.m.
What could be scarier than a world without books? The current issue of banning books makes this classic film directed by Francois Truffaut especially worth seeing in 2023. This screening is presented by the NYS Writers Institute in Page Hall on the downtown UAlbany campus.
We'll meet between 6:30 and 6:45 p.m. in the auditorium lobby so we can sit together to view the film. Free admission. Registration is not required, but if you contact Sheryl or Monica, they’ll know to look for you. Free parking in the Thurlow student lot. See map
