Together Women Rise

You Can Make a Difference

 Over the years, our chapter of Together Women Rise has donated just over $49,000 to international projects to improve conditions for women and girls. 

We meet most months for a potluck dinner with a small educational component. Money that otherwise would be spent on going out to dinner is donated instead.

This month's grant recipient is the Girls Conservation program in Rwanda, a project of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund : www.gorillafund.org/

The program focuses on education inequalities in Rwanda . It offers girls opportunities outside the classroom, and promotes careers in conservation.
