WCA members have frequent opportunities to socialize. Guests are welcome at many events, affording visitors an opportunity to experience what the club is all about. Contact us with questions. |
Member MondaysThe 4th Monday of most months features a potluck supper followed by an activity or speaker and often includes collections of items for our community service partners. | Tuesdays on the Porch or in the ParlorStrictly social, these informal gatherings feature “a nip or a nosh” brought by members, and sometimes live music. ![]() |

Volunteers are the heart and soul of the WCA. Members fulfill our mission through hands-on activities, collections of goods and fundraising activities for local non-profit organizations that serve women and children. Special events like our annual Good Books for Good Works, held along with the Book House of Stuyvesant Plaza, promote literacy as we raise funds via book sales to support a local school's library. |
CollectionsHelp us collect items such as blankets for immigrant families setting up a home. | Together Women RiseThe WCA proudly hosts the Capital Region chapter of Together Women Rise, which supports programs around the globe to improve the lives of women. For more information on our community partners and volunteer activities see our Community Service page. |
