The History of Cherry Hill

Wednesday June 30 -- 5:30 p.m. via Zoom

This historic 18th Century manor house on South Pearl Street in Albany was built by Philip van Rensselaer for his bride Maria Sanders, granddaughter of Peter Schuyler. Van Rensselaer descendants lived there for almost two centuries.

Like the WCA building, this house holds vast a history .Most recently, Cherry Hill has completed an extensive restoration and furniture reinstallation.  Director Deborah Emmons-Andarawis will discuss the history of the house and the recent improvements.

Please register by June 28th and a ZOOM link will be emailed to you.

Two in-person tours of the house will take place in July. Stay tuned for more information.
