Together Women Rise

This month's grant recipient is Nurturing Opportunities for Women (NOW) in Sierra Leone, a project of OneVillage Partners. Using a picture-based curriculum, it enables women to  develop life skills, community development tools and communication skills to control their financial household position, open a business and engage in civic life.

This is a potluck supper with a small educational component.  Money that otherwise would be spent on going out to dinner is donated to the project.
