What's the significance of this American art movement?
Who were the artists who created these works?
The Albany Institute of History and Art has one of the most significant collections of Hudson River School paintings. We will attend a private docent-led tour of the collection and learn about the paintings, artists and their relationship to nature and symbolism. The gift shop will be open and those interested can get lunch after the tour.
Tickets for museum entry and private tour are $10 to be paid at entry.
Please register on our website so our docent can plan. All are welcome with a 15-person maximum.
