The Woman's Club is pleased to host a guest speaker from The International Center of the Capital Region this month. The center is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, that has been welcoming and assisting international newcomers throughout New York’s Capital Region since 1956. Its mission is to connect the Capital Region to the world through citizen ambassadors.
The center participates in the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program. It also promotes the Capital Region's diverse people, rich history, and unique assets.ecent visitors include educators from Poland, doctors from Ukraine, filmmakers from Senegal, and judges from Pakistan.
The center is also working on expanding programming for youth as well as engaging the diverse cultural groups of the Capital Region.
