This month our feature presentation is The Vandy Thrift Shoppe. This presentation had been scheduled for February Member Monday, which was canceled because of bad weather.)
Located in downtown Albany, The Vandy ispart of Vanderheyden, a Wynantskill-based organization that has been assisting children, adults and families for more than 180 years.
The Vandy offers low prices on men and women's clothing, accessories and home items. Proceeds directly support Vanderheyden's mission to empower youth, adults and families to build brighter futures.
CEO (and WCA member) Karen Carpenter-Palumbo will talk about The Vandy and Vanderheyden, how their mission aligns with the WCA's and how we can get involved.

This month we will be collecting your donations of canned soup to supply the FOCUS Food Pantry on State Street in Albany.
Increased SNAP benefits from COVID support have ended, forcing families to seek help for increased food insecurity. Food Pantries are overwhelmed and the cupboards are bare!
We can make a difference - a can of soup is a meal for a hungry child.
The Membership and Community Service Committees welcome your donations at the April Member Monday get together.
