Join Us in a Giving Tuesday Opportunity!
The WCA will be participating in the global movement dedicated to charitable giving known as Giving Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023!
Thanks to your generosity, last year we raised over $3,300 on Giving Tuesday toward the restoration and painting of our porch pillars. Those funds helped support our application for and award of a $15,000 grant from the Bender Family Foundation. Together this funded the project to save and protect our 14 beautiful porch pillars for years to come!
This year you can help repair, preserve, and beautify the East porch entrance on our driveway side. In fact, several members have already generously donated funds for this purpose. Let’s join them and bring the East porch up to the historic and aesthetic beauty that we enjoy on the front porch!
You will be able to donate by mailing a check to the Woman’s Club of Albany, 725 Madison Ave., Albany, NY, 12208, or on the WCA website, and designating the funds for Giving Tuesday. All donations are tax deductible and support our mission of preserving our historic home and supporting and enriching the lives of women and children.
