Board Meeting
The WCA Board usually meets the third Monday of every month at 6:30 pm.
Our program is a potluck dinner with a small educational component. Money that otherwise would be spent on going out to dinner is donated instead. Over the past several years, we have raised over $49,000 for Together Women Rise.
Please join us. Questions? Contact Rosemary Revoir.
S.E.W.S.
Literacy Volunteers of the Capital Region holds a weekly Sewing, English and Workplace Skills (SEWS) class at the Women's Club of Albany. This program is designed to teach immigrant/refugee women sewing skills as well as introduce them to workplace skills, Civics, and the English language.
Writers' Reading Group
The Writers' Reading Group aims to foster creativity and connection among our members who write or are interested in writing.
Our next discussion will center on Craft in the Real World by Matthew Salesses. You can find more information and reviews on Goodreads.
To ensure we can accommodate all interested participants, please register in advance by emailing Paige Hassall. Early registration helps us prepare the space and materials for an engaging session.
We look forward to an evening of insightful conversation and shared inspiration!
